White to pale yellow. Free-flowing powder. There is almost no smell. It forms a viscous liquid when dispersed in hot or cold water. The viscosity of a 1% aqueous solution is approximately 4 to 5Pa, which is the highest among natural rubbers. After adding a small amount of sodium tetraborate, it turns into gel. Dispersed in cold water for about 2 hours, the viscosity is relatively strong. After 24 hours, the viscosity gradually increases and reaches the maximum value. Its viscosity is 5 to 8 times that of starch and it reaches its highest point very quickly when heated. The aqueous solution is neutral. The viscosity is the highest when the pH value is between 6 and 8, and it drops significantly when the pH value is above 10. When the pH value is between 6.0 and 3.5, the viscosity drops sharply with the decrease of the pH value. The viscosity below 3.5 increases again.
 

Application

This product can be used as a thickener. Stabilizer Emulsion Suspending agent Compatibilizer. In China, it can be used as an emulsifying stabilizer and thickener for various foods, and should be used in appropriate amounts as needed in production.
