Product Description

Hop pellets are granular products made from fresh hops (Humulus lupulus) after drying, crushing and compressing. They are specially optimized for beer brewing and are convenient for storage and use. It retains the key components of hops (α -acid, β -acid, essential oils, etc.) and is widely used in craft beer, food, health products and other fields.


Form: Cylindrical particles (diameter approximately 2-6mm, length 5-10mm).

Color: Light green to dark green (depending on the variety and processing technique).


Shelf life: Unopened, it can be stored for 1-2 years in the refrigerator at 4°C and up to 3 years in the freezer at -18°C.
 

Beer brewing (core use)
1.Bitterness and Flavor: The α -acids in hops are isomerized during the boiling process, providing the bitterness of beer. β -acids and essential oils contribute flavors such as floral, citrus, and herbal notes.

Preservative effect: The natural components of hops (such as humulone) can inhibit bacterial growth and extend the shelf life of beer.

2. Other foods and beverages
Craft beer innovation: For experimental beers (such as dry-pouring processes to enhance aroma).

Fermented beverages: Added to some fruit wines and Kombucha to increase complexity.
