Product Description
EVA 20% refers to Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) resin with 20% vinyl acetate content. EVA is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, widely used in various industries for its flexibility, toughness, and resistance to UV radiation. The 20% VA (Vinyl Acetate) content gives this material specific properties like higher flexibility, impact resistance, and clarity compared to other grades of EVA with lower VA content.

Chemical properties of EVA 20%
Chemical structure: Copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate with 20% vinyl acetate content.
Chemical stability: good chemical stability at room temperature, good resistance to acids, alkalis, salts and other general chemicals, but may be degraded in a strong oxidizing environment.
Solvent resistance: It has some resistance to most organic solvents, but may be dissolved or solubilized by strong polar solvents such as ketones and esters.
Flammability: flammable, combustible gases such as acetic acid and ethylene will be produced when burning, the flame is yellow with smoke.
Light stability: good UV resistance, not easy to be degraded by sunlight exposure.
Thermal stability: good thermal stability in the temperature range, will gradually soften and melt when exceeding the melting point, but not easy to decompose.
Processability: It can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, calendering and other techniques, and is suitable for a variety of uses.
These physical and chemical properties allow EVA 20% to excel in a variety of applications, especially in areas where flexibility, transparency and low temperature resistance are required, such as solar encapsulation, shoe foam, packaging films, etc.
